Weekly_Themes

All weeks typically follow the same schedule. Each week is themed based, meaning all sessions (academic, art/craft, athletic, and technology) will relate to the theme as best it can!

Our weekly “in-house” field trips, productions, performances, and/or visitors will be selected based on the weekly theme.

FRIENDS & FUN (June 1-5)
Let’s get this party started! We’ll kick off the first week of camp with some “ice-breaker” activities to help campers meet new friends and have fun while doing so. This week is sure to be fun-filled and enjoyable for campers of all ages!

COLOR ME HAPPY (June 8-12)
Campers will be surprised at how much fun “colors” can be! Each day will be based on a different color. Daily activities and lessons will correlate with the chosen color. Campers are asked to wear clothing that matches the day’s color. (Monday-Red, Tuesday-Blue, Wednesday-Green, Thursday-yellow, Friday-kids’ choice…TBA)

MESSY MISCHIEF (June 15-19)
Be prepared to explore anything that can make a mess! Campers will enjoy getting the counselors “dirty” and participating in activities that require making a mess! No worries, parents, we will have your camper cleaned up by the time they go home

SPORTSFANATIC (June 22-26)
GO DAWGS (or Jackets)! FALCONS! BRAVES! HAWKS! This week will be spent learning and playing team sports. Campers will select their favorite teams and learn about their team’s mascot, song and colors!

LIFE’S A BEACH (JULY 6-10)
Welcome to beach week! Campers can wear their beach attire and (hopefully) participate in outdoor water activities (all depends of the watering ban)!

MAN’S BEST FRIEND (July 13-17)
This week is for dog lovers (or anyone who has a pet)! All lessons and activities will be animal related.

BORN IN THE USA (July 20-24)
North, South, East, West…USA IS THE BEST!!! Campers will learn new and interesting facts about some of their favorite states. We will “visit” the most popular tourist attractions in the states and taste some of the states’ famous foods!

ANYTHING GOES (July 27-31)
This week is a surprise to all of us! Each day a different staff member will be selected to choose the theme for that day. They will pick their favorite activities and share them with you!
